Three Factors That Cause False Alarms In Anti-theft Alarm Systems

With the development of science and technology, the anti-theft alarm system has been widely used in major households, shops, supermarkets and other places. Although the anti-theft alarm system has been installed, the phenomenon of false alarms and random alarms occurs due to various reasons caused by the alarm system. Operators cause unnecessary waste of costs and cause unnecessary trouble to users, and this phenomenon of false positives and false positives will result in frequent false positives and false positives, just like the story of "the wolf is coming". The number of times is frequent, and the user does not know how to distinguish the true and false alarm information. If the real criminal comes and the alarm occurs again, the user thinks it is a false alarm and ignores it, and allows the criminal to enter the house to commit crimes. It will lead to heavy losses for users and unnecessary trouble for operators. Therefore, solving false alarms is an important task to ensure the property safety of alarm service operators and users. So since there will be false positives, there must be some reasons for the false positives of the alarm system, then what causes the false positives? We can analyze the following three factors to understand the anti-theft alarm system we have installed now
 
Factor 1: False alarms caused by unreasonable design of the anti-theft alarm system. When installing the anti-theft alarm system, our preferred alarm device is the primary key to the design of the entire alarm system. At present, there are many domestic manufacturers of alarm equipment. Alarm equipment has various styles and functions, and has its own unique functions, as well as the scope of use, with certain limitations. Therefore, when the selected alarm device is unreasonable and installed, it will cause various false alarms. phenomenon; we can make an analogy: if the installation environment is relatively close to the airport or the railway, then the alarm device of the vibration detector will easily cause false alarms in the system, and there are more bats in the installation environment. If we want to reduce the occurrence of false alarms, when designing the entire alarm system, we need to carefully select the alarm device, and design the Personnel need to be familiar with the use of alarm devices, and at the same time select appropriate alarm devices for factors such as climate conditions, environmental conditions, electromagnetic wave intensity and luminosity changes in the site environment.
 
In addition to the careful selection of the alarm device, we also need to consider the installation position, angle, protective measures, construction wiring, etc. of the alarm device; we can also make an example: if passive infrared is installed on the opposite side of an air conditioner or a ventilation fan The intrusion detector alarm device will also cause false alarms in the alarm system. Also, if the active infrared detector is installed outdoors without any sunshade protection measures, it will also cause false alarms. Taking protective measures against electromagnetic interference can also lead to false alarms.

Factor 2: False alarms caused by improper construction Improper construction mainly includes the following five aspects: (1) The quality inspection equipment used for construction does not meet the measurement requirements;
(2) The solder joints have virtual soldering, burrs or poor shielding measures;
(3) The sensitivity adjustment of the equipment is wrong;
(4) The installation of the alarm device is unstable or the angle does not meet the requirements;
(5) The builder did not strictly implement the design requirements for construction.
 
Factor 3: False alarms caused by faulty alarm devices
Alarm device faults are divided into two types: drift faults and destructive faults:
(1) Drift faults are mainly caused by the parameters of the components and the drift of the power supply voltage, that is, the drift faults; we can also make an analogy: too high temperature will also lead to changes in the resistance value of the resistance, thus alarming the device There will be good times and bad times; in fact, factors such as ambient temperature, component manufacturing process, device manufacturing process, use time, storage time, etc., will lead to changes in component parameters, resulting in drift failures.
(2) Destructive failure When the components are damaged or there is a phenomenon such as virtual welding, it will cause a destructive failure, and a destructive failure is what we usually call a complete failure or a sudden failure of the function.
